Clifford Lee Dempsey was born on July 28th, 1943 and passed away on October 26th, 2021 at the age of 78. Clifford is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Marlene Dempsey along with his father, Oscar C. Dempsey and mother, Gladys Gresham Carpenter as well as his sister, Shirley Ann Dempsey and brother, Oscar O. Dempsey. He is also preceded in death by his step father, Rotain Carpenter.

Clifford is survived by his step mother, Lamerie Dempsey and his his son, Cliff Dempsey and wife Cherie. He is also survived by four daughters, Susie Irving and her husband Dave, Bonnie Glackler and her husband Michael, Wanda Hoffman and, Tina Drummond.

Clifford also leaves behind a brother, Bobby Dempsey and his wife Bonita- Phenix City, Alabama and four sisters, Delores Battles and her husband Boyd, Debi Linn and her husband Dennis- Macon, GA, Judy Franklin and her husband John- Robbinsville, NC, and, Linda Posey- Salem Alabama.

He lived to see twelve Grandchildren and seventeen Great Grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held some time in the near future which family and friends will be notified about.
