Ernest "Robert" James passed into eternity Tuesday October 26th, 2021. Born on May 25th, 1938 in Illinois, Robert and his family later moved to Northern California settling in Oroville where he met the love of his life, JoAnn. Red Bluff became their home in 1966.

Robert is survived by JoAnn, his wife of 63 years, one sister, Janice Carlyle (Tom) of Iowa, numerous nieces, nephews and many many friends. Memorial services for Robert will be held on Saturday November 6th, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Red Bluff Vineyard, 738 Walnut Street in Red Bluff.

JoAnn sends her heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. McDaniel, Dr. Thomas, and Dr. Freeman and the many nurses and medical staff who served Robert with great care and compassion during his illness. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Robert's memory and honor to the Red Bluff Vineyard.
