Gabriel Collins Cruz was born March 23, 1991 to parents Raymond and Shanalee Cruz. He passed away suddenly on January 2, 2026, at the age of 34.

Gabriel was a professional sand boarder and competed all over on various dunes.

He is survived by his life partner, Dakota Rose Gilson, his daughter, Aviana Mae Cruz, his mother, Shanalee Cruz, and his father, Raymond Cruz, Jr.

He is also survived by his brothers, Jackson Ray Cruz and Ezekiel Leon Cruz, and his sisters, Maya Annjulee Cruz and Hallie Olivia Cruz.
