Kevin Finch
Scaler
Jan 20, 1952 — Jun 13, 2024
Kevin Finch Scaler was born in 1952 in San Francisco, California. Kevin was the son of Virginia Scaler and the sibling to Teresa "Terri" Splendorio. He loved being a Boy Scout, anything with frisbees, wearing tank tops, and he loved dogs (Jonna, Geno, Chopin, and later Chopie).
He had one daughter, Jacquelyn and three granddaughters, Kylie, Lauren and McKenzie. He had recently became a great grandpa to Adrienne (Lauren's daughter). Kevin loved the Lord and always showed love to his family and friends. He cherished and was cherished by all who knew him.
In 2003, Kevin met the true love of his life, Mary. He was married just months after their first meeting. He worked at his job at Kaiser Permanente for a few years and retired while living in Martinez, California. After a brief stint in Concord, CA, Mary and Kevin moved to Red Bluff, CA in 2017 to be near Mary's family.
Kevin enjoyed listening to Christian music, cooking, podcasts, and televised pastors. He loved watching classic movies like James Bond and football games. Kevin loved his church, Bible studies, reading scripture, and praying! He loved his family!
He is survived by his wife, daughter, sister, two step children, Nicole and Jeremy, seven step grandchildren; Wade, Zane, Gage, Bailey, Darrin, Desmond and Jebediah.
Most of all, he enjoyed the love of his life, Mary, and his dog, Chopie, all while "lollygagging".
