Larry Vaughn Bogges was born August 18, 1945, in Lodi, California, to parents Walter and Margaret (McCLure) Bogges. He passed away in Cottonwood, California on September 7, 2021, at the age of 76.

Larry loved the outdoors and hunting. He enjoyed gold panning with his good friends, Red and Jon.

He leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Phyllis, 3 children from a previous marriage-Brandon, Bryon, and Elizabeth Bogges, his stepson and daughter-in-law, Mark and Remy Trantham, 7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren (Raquel, Michelle, and Mark) and 4 step great-grandchildren (Nayeli, Adilida, William, and Jameson). He is also survived by his brothers, Ken (Marie) and Walter Bogges and his sisters, Barbara Johnson and Betty Ellison.
