Lloyd Smead Jr June 25, 1934 – March 26, 2024 Lloyd passed away peacefully in his home. He was 89. Born in Healdsburg CA to Lloyd Sr. and Olive Smead, he met his wife of 65 years, Shirley, in Santa Rosa while attending Santa Rosa JC. They settled in Red Bluff in 1961 and raised three boys. Lloyd served as the manager at the local Wells Fargo Bank for over a decade and continued with the company in Chico as a loan supervisor and district manager until his retirement in 1987. Lloyd is remembered as an avid outdoorsman, who especially loved his annual hunting trips in Montana, and a committed husband and father who deeply loved his family. He is preceded in death by his first son Lloyd Smead III, and survived by his wife Shirley, son Leo of Lake Havasu City AZ, and son Steve and daughter-in-law Laura of Lincoln CA.
