Maurice Ness (Morris) died unexpectedly on July 1, 2023 in his home. He was born to Jack and Marcella on April 1, 1937 in South Dakota and was an only child. The family moved to Red Bluff, California shortly after he was born where Morris remained until he joined the army and was stationed in Germany where he met his first wife, Johanna. They went on to have 3 children, Ronald Ness, Peter Ness, and Christian Ness. Morris then went on to study at the University of the Pacific in Stockton becoming a pharmacist. He started his career in Escondido, California before divorcing and returning to Red Bluff, there he met Pamela Rush and shortly after got married. He loved his hobbies of working with the Red Bluff Historical Society, genealogy and as an avid key collector but most importantly, he enjoyed his Grandchildren, Emily (Ness) DiGiovanni, Erik Ness, Samantha Benedetti, Alexandra Slaney, Jackson Zeman, and Great Grandchild, Jacob Benedetti. He will be dearly missed.

There will be a celebration of life on August 21, 2023 at the Elk Grove Lodge in Red Bluff, CA @ 12:00 pm.
