Randall Dale
Patterson
Apr 10, 1953 — Jan 17, 2023
Randall Dale Patterson was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on an Air Force base to Arthur and Estella Patterson on April 10, 1953. As a child Randy traveled quite a bit as his Dad was in the military. His stories were endless of the adventures he had. His last move was to Red Bluff in 1968. Here, he finished Junior High and completed High School. He started his working career at Sambo's Restaurant but shortly went to work in the grocery business where he remained for over 35 years. He often said there wasn't a day he didn't want to get up and go to work as he loved his job as a produce manager. Randy loved house boating, skiing on Shasta Lake, and visiting Trinidad on the coast. He retired in 2015, but that didn't slow him down as he loved creating metal sculptures and working with wood. Kathy's endless honey do projects were a full time job as well. Going to watch his grandson play ball gave him great joy in his last years. He also owned rental property which kept him busy.
He is survived by his parents Art and Judy Patterson of Cameron Park, CA and Stan and Estella Parker of Shingletown. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Kathy, of 50 years, sons Jerrod and Cody Patterson and his daughter Jenica and son-in-law Will Clement. His pride and joy were his grandkids; Clayton Berry, Maci Lemke and Hank Clement. He also leaves behind his brother, Mike and sister-in-law, Kathy Patterson of Cameron Park and sister Debbie Camacho of Red Bluff. He is also leaving behind nephews, Colby and Trace Camacho, Sean Patterson and niece, Lena Morton along with tow great nephews and one great niece. He was close with his family and friends, too many to name. His positive nature and love of people never waned. He was a man of God and his faith was strong.
Randy passed on January 17, 2023 at the age of 69 in the comfort of his home after a long battle with cancer. A celebration of life will be held on February 4 th at 11:00 AM at the Vineyard Church at 735 Walnut Street in Red Bluff.
