Robert A. Dunham was the youngest son of a farmer and his wife in upstate New York. He was born in Eagle Mills, NY. After finishing school, and serving in the military, he went on to be a milkman for Anderson's Dairy and then followed his career path with the Prudential Insurance Company until he retired.

He is survived by his children: Susan Florian, Barbara Snyder, Robert W. Dunham, Lorie Sherman and Cheryl Penniman. Grandchildren: Christopher Bryce, Jessica Willis, Greg Snyder, Ryan Snyder, Mathew Sherman, Katherine Sherman. Great Grandchildren: Emma Guerra, Madalyn Guerra, and Sosuke Snyder. And many nieces and nephews.
