Shawn Gessel was born to his father Patrick Gessel and mother Brenda Pryor on August 17, 1974 and passed away August 14, 2026

Shawn spent a long career as a welder in the oilfields for over twenty years.

He is survived by both his parents, his son, Lucas Ryan Gessel, daughters Jade Elizabeth Gessel, and Trinity Gessel as well as his sisters Tammy Lynette Gessel, Nicole Lynn Gessel, and Melisa Kay Metheny. 

He was 51 years old.
