Sheila Gene Black was born on October 18, 1946, in California to parents Ivan and Dorothy Williams. She passed away in San Francisco on August 30, 2026, at the age of 79.

Sheila worked for the County of Sacramento for 26 years. She was an avid bowler, who even joined a couple of leagues, and would bowl with her partner, Bruce. She loved animals and was a kind and giving person.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Shirley. She is survived by her partner, Bruce Meadows, her brother, Michael Williams, her sister, Kimberly Ross Garcia, her stepson, Merton Perkins and stepdaughter, Paula Perkins.

Arrangements are held under the direction of Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary.
