Tim was born November 20, 1956 in Red Bluff CA to Ray and Della Coombs. He passed away on August 13, 2023 after a long battle with neuroendocrine cancer. He was the youngest of three boys. He attended Gerber Elementary School, Red Bluff High School, and Shasta College.

Tim worked as a draftsman and engineering technician before retiring from Tehama County Public Works in 2018. He enjoyed playing bass guitar, kayaking, camping, puttering in his garage, trying different beers and spending time with family and friends.

Tim is survived by his wife, CeeAnn, their children, Benjamin (Jessica) and their four children, Jackson, Callum, Joanna and Clarissa; Katie Hubbard (Mike) and their son, August. He is also survived by his mother, Della Coombs and brothers, Brad (Diane) and Doug, his brother in law Bill Ranberg (Denise) and his mother-in-law, Barbara Ranberg and numerous nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Coombs.

Tim was a soft spoken man who would do anything for a friend but hated asking for help. He was quick to come up with a stupid pun or joke and enjoyed the resultant eye rolls. His grandchildren brought a sparkle to eye. He will be forever missed by all who loved him.

Tim wanted a party, so there will be a celebration of life on September 23 at 5:00 at 19690 Live Oak Rd. in Red Bluff.
