Obituary

Vicki Lynn (Lawson) Etzler, 64 of Red Bluff, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Redding, California. She was born and raised in the Red Bluff and Dairyville area. She attended Antelope Elementary School and graduated from Red Bluff High School. She worked for Diamond National in Red Bluff. She also worked for the Red Bluff Daily News. Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Lottie (Byrd) Lawson; her brothers, Robert and Lloyd Lawson; her sisters, Thelma Holt, Patricia Lawson, and Sharon Lawson. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Blair Etzler of Red Bluff, CA, her sisters Bonnie Jackman of Yuba City, CA, Bernice Nickerson of Apple Valley, CA, Marsha VanWagoner of Spokane Valley, WA, sons John (Kathy) Coy of Albany OR, and Chris (Taneya) Coy of Red Bluff, CA. Vicki from age 2 and Bonnie (Lawson) Jackman age 10 was raised by older sister Thelma (Joe) Holt of Red Bluff, along with their children; Nadaine, Jerry, Arleane, and Joe Holt. Vicki was a loving grandmother to Dakota Thomas and Beau Coy, and also a great grandmother to Maycee, Declan, and Colson. She loved the outdoors. She loved to hunt, fish, search for arrowheads, and most of all loved camping. She sang the best campfire songs. She will be truly missed. There will be a celebration of life at the home of Chris and Taneya Coy on September 5th at 4:00 pm.
