Everyone who knew him called him Bill. Bill was born on May 1st, 1930 in Watts, CA. to Estelle E. Lewis and Frank M. Lewis. Bill passed away Friday February 26th, 2021 at the age of 90. He was married to Melva L. Toney.

He is survived by his children, Billy L. Lewis, Esther M. Lewis, Thad M. Lewis, and Rosemary E. Lewis. Seven grandchildren. Tony M. Berens, Kelly L. Cotten, Jamie L. Cotten, Bailey P. Cotten, Lani L. Lewis, Will Lewis, Dusti lewis. He also had 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings and two of his wives (the mothers of his children).

He served in the Navy, shod and broke horses, operated heavy equipment, ran dude strings, and ran cattle. There was never a time in his life that he wasn't busy. He could take a pile of wood, some nails, a hammer, and a saw and create ANYTHING without a blueprint. There is nothing he couldn't accomplish. He truly lived an amazing life. He might have appeared gruff on the outside, but all who really knew him knew that the gruffness surrounded a big heart.

He loved to hunt, garden, fish, raise cows and run a backhoe. He will be greatly missed and always loved.
